Gibson Bar & Steakhouse is my favorite Chicago restaurant! Among the chain's multiple city spots, I prefer the one located in the Gold Coast triangle, at the corner of Rust st & Bellevue Pl. Even though some people may consider the restaurant as a chic place for rich people only, Gibson is a classic Chicago steakhouse that deserves its reputation. It's ave very cozy place for a perfect dinning with friends or relatives. Clients can either sit inside during cold weather and also outside during summer. The menu is affordable, depending of one's meal preference. As a meat eater, a diet  I have inherited from my culture, steaks are my favorite. At Gibsons, a regular price for a "filet mignon steak" is $39.75 This menu is served with Fries, mashed or baked potato, and also with an fresh crispy oven baked bread with butter.             Farmers markets started more than 5,000 years ago in Egypt where farmers along the Nile came together to sell their fresh produce. In the United States the first  farmers market  in the United States opened in 1634 in Boston, Massachusetts. The purpose of this event is to provide local healthy fresh food to the local consumers at an average cost. Besides the retail sales, farmers markets also help local farmers to make farming profitable. The field trip to the farmers market that was recently held at the Richard Daily center located in the downtown Chicago area saw a huge participation of local farmers as well as local consumers. The market was clean, stands well disposed and a broad range of food were exposed. I was more attracted by artisan bread produced by Nick from Pilsen. Hometown Poem

Douala, my river city, Town of the fresh fishes, Cradle of the Wouri River, Economic capital of my country Cameroon, I will never forget your memories. City of the fighters, Valiant soldier of the World War I You have shed blood for the freedom of my country. Far from my eyes, but near to my heart, I miss the song of your birds during morning sunrises.  However, the view of the Chicago shores reminds me of your river.
